The Children's Butterfly Centre Life Cycle As advanced insects, butterflies and moths have a "complete" life cycle. This means that there are four separate stages, each of which looks completely different and serves a different purpose in the life of the insect. Learn more at this site. Wacky Web Tales Students used to play this game called MAD LIBS with pencil and paper and loved it. Now the idea has been transferred to the web. My students still like playing it. After Fractured Fairy Tales, they can create their own fractured stories (not necessarily fairy tales). I think you will find much laughter in the classroom when students do this activity while consolidating grammar, comprehension and language skills.
